Depression is a very unpleasant thing, depression can only be defeated in one way, it is head, depression sits in the head, the first thing that helps me is to distract myself from the problems spend time with friends go for a weekend in the countryside.

I suffer from depression. I have noticed that rx drugs really did help, but so did sticking to a regimented schedule that included working out. I eventually got pretty strong and wasn't as depressed. Something boosted inside me and I felt a lot better. Maybe it was a confidence thing.

I had some issues with the depression in the past. Well it actually turned out to be issues with the Thyroid. There are many common symptoms and many doctors miss-diagnose Thyroid issues with depression.
So before getting anti depression medication make 100% sure it is not actually something physical that drains your energy. A simple hormone test can spare you a lot misery.

Kinda feels weird to say this but tbh I will 1) tell myself that I'm worthy of love etc in the mirror every morning
2) try to exercise everyday.
3) buy a 🐕 dogSmile
4) SUNLIGHT! I find that this is by far the most important. Get sunlight early and as much as u can everyday
5) keep an eye on ur circadian rhythm. Wake/ sleep when sun rises/sets

The sad thing about depression is that you can't beat it once for all. It will come back over and over again. But with each fight, you are stronger than before. It's just a part of life that we have to accept.

I went through a very tough time myself and I saw friends and family go through it too. Personally working out did wonders for me even though I hated it, walking, laying in the sun, forcing myself to eat and just forcing myself to do small routine things like cleaning the house, shower, going out for walks etc.

For anyone struggling remember no matter how dark it gets, the sun always eventually comes up. Do not make mermanent decisions for a temporary problem. Speak to someone , anyone! Good luck and God bless!

Often people underestimate depression, but it is a very complex mental condition that is difficult to overcome. I've even read that illnesses that limit physical activity or require long-term treatment can affect mental health and lead to depression. That is why the [Link Redacted] blood and tests is very important to prevent the development of an unwanted disease state. A balanced diet can play a role in supporting your mental health. Foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish and flaxseed, have been associated with a positive impact on mood.
