That's a very rough explanation. However, I do agree with you - but not completely.

It's not uncommon that successful people feel depressed. I think the reason is that many of them expect to be happy after accomplishing their goals (e.g. "I will be happy if I get a new car, game, phone...") instead of living in the journey of completing their goals. You should be happy both while you perform in a movie and when you get paid for it, not only when you get paid. This is the reason many people never feel truly happy or rewarded for their work, therefore they start using drugs to fill those gaps which eventually become even bigger.

Best advice. Although, depression makes you not want to do anything. However, if you can force yourself to get up and do something, you won't regret it.

I couldn't agree more.

They would feel weak in the wrong community but could feel better in the right one. The simple solution is changing friends that make you feel down (because that's not real friendship, let's be real) and meeting new ones that will accept you for who you are and take you seriously.

I agree. You should always force yourself in order to do something good for your body. One small decision to go for a run could change your life. As Boudica said, you will not regret it.

There are many self-improvement books and YouTube channels you could spend your time on. https://www.youtube.com/user/elliottsaidwhat

Some cracking points. I totally agree.

Often, it's the smaller things that ultimately make you happy.

"Find what you love and let it kill you."

If you can't find something you love, then start with what you hate the least.

Thanks for sharing. For me the best way to beat depression is to love myself, and understand that everything makes me stronger

Depression is experienced by everyone without exception, at least once, but everyone has been through it, but this is if we are talking about depressive States, and not specifically about clinical depression. Clinical depression is extremely difficult to cure completely, as it grows in a person over the years. This must be noticed in time, otherwise the person will get bogged down in it. I fell very deep into this state and could not even bring myself to stand up, and if it wasn't for CTFO, I don't think I would have been able to get out even a centimeter, but everything is fine and everything is coming back to normal

Seek help, it's the best thing you can do, you're not in this alone. I get that seeking help is the hardest part of getting better, but it's true. When I was feeling low and was on the edge, my therapist recommended that I try herbal rva kratom and it was one of the best things I've ever taken cause it made me more relax and even happier. I'd recommend you read about the benefic effects it has on different parts of the body and how it helps with anxiety and depression, it's quite fascinating. Inform yourself and maybe give it a try if it ma work for you.

The process of recovering from a depression can be much more difficult than the depression itself, because the person is exhausted, has no desire to do anything. It is very easy to say that you have to impose on yourself, but it is practically impossible to do it when you have no wish.

Well said.

"Attitude" plays an Integral part In both coping and recovering from depression, and Is the deciding factor as to whether It's managed or cured.
