Yes I am aware of this, but think of it this way... If you wanted a program but it was made only for windows not mac not linux nor any other OS, would you use WINE to run that program?

I would if I couldn't find an alternative program for linux.

I did not mean like that I just meant it was a program you would like to have.

Because many people use linux only(e.g. like me) so even if you make something incredible but Windows only I won''t even mess checking it out from curiosity on my PC which is dual boot and has Windows installed (I am forced too, cause in my college is only about windows). Cause I wont use at all.

Then also a good thinking for start is to share your code as you are sharing the program.

I hope this helped

Thats some recommentation. I

Thanks, but one question have you ever heard of wine? You probably have, but with wine you can run a windows executable file on linux.

Thats not exactly truth only if you configure it properly to run via wine. But still this is not the way for me. I don't really like to use programs that use wine, as its too unsafe for me. I only use 1 (TeamViewer) cause I must use it.

Thats my point though - There has never been a Windows application that I couldn't find an alternative for. "Liking" it is irrelevant. If its functional thats all I require. And quite frankly if you can do something on Windows - Someone, somewhere, has developed something equivalent on Linux with a few exceptions of the large game studios. But im not a gamer.

Why dont you use the native Linux TeamViewer application? I do... it works fine.
