Thats my point though - There has never been a Windows application that I couldn't find an alternative for. "Liking" it is irrelevant. If its functional thats all I require. And quite frankly if you can do something on Windows - Someone, somewhere, has developed something equivalent on Linux with a few exceptions of the large game studios. But im not a gamer.

Why dont you use the native Linux TeamViewer application? I do... it works fine.
I am actually doing some work in java now so it will work with almost any OS. (That has java installed)

Are you talking about ssh?
If you don't, I don't really know what are you talking about mate... But I would love to.
If you do, it doesn't fit the needs I have about solving normal users problems.

Native teamviewer for linux is built that way that uses wine to run through. Even that a .deb package of installation is available it runs through wine thats why a wine gui casts the first time you run it on the computer, after the first time it does the same but in the background probably.
Yes this is what I am using too of course. You thought I was using the one for Windows and runing it through wine? I am not on that level of madness yet sir! Kappa

Actually I just learned something new - It ran so seamless that I never even noticed that wine was running as well. I dont recall having ever seen Wine display anything after install either. (Ive installed TV a number of times on Linux).
But yes I thought you were running the Windows client over wine lol.
