I would just like to ask, what programs would you like to be shown on here? Witch ones would you like the best? What are some programs you use? I would like to know so I can make these.

To make a good start, realize that you programs should for sure run on Linux too. Because many people use linux only(e.g. like me) so even if you make something incredible but Windows only I won''t even mess checking it out from curiosity on my PC which is dual boot and has Windows installed (I am forced too, cause in my college is only about windows). Cause I wont use at all.
Then also a good thinking for start is to share your code as you are sharing the program.

Yes I am aware of this, but think of it this way... If you wanted a program but it was made only for windows not mac not linux nor any other OS, would you use WINE to run that program?
