You can flash a Linux on your PC whereby there will be only one OS which is the Linux

what about full disk encryption? Surley with one click of a button it will all be secure

You'd need to Implement measures as per my post In the other thread that you've commented on.

Apart from the VM, your specs will accommodate the lot.
