There was a very particular style of DDOS attack just now, it was mitigated.

When the pain hits the nerve, It's unbearable and no matter how tough you are, It'll beat you to your knees.
I've also experienced a severe toothache, and It's something I'd never want to go through again.
Oh yeah when the needle from the Novocaine injection hits your nerve that feels some good
Absolutely.
Until It's gone, you don't tend to fully realize the extent of the pain- It seems to take over every thought.

I typically go every 6 months. Only had 1-2 cavities filled in the past.

Hate the feeling of dental painkillers, since the effect is centralized. Doesn't even block the pain fully.

My worst fear, Is In fact the dentist.
When they fill a tooth, my fists are tightly clenched In anticipation of pain and as you've said, you can still feel It to some extent.

Be sure to have It fixed.
If not, when you least expect It, the pain will hit and you'd be begging the dentist to schedule you In.

Yeah big time this. As that cracked tooth begins to wear away, the underlying nerve will eventually become exposed. And when you've got an exposed nerve, you're surely in for a treat.

I don't remember the last time I went.

I think the best time to go is when you need a new toothbrush

And It somehow seems to happen during public holidays, when every dentist Is closed.
The timing couldn't be worse.

Yep, same thing happened to my little brother. Back whenever fidget spinners were a huge thing, him and his friends would spin theirs to their maximum velocity then touch it to their tooth because apparently it made cool noises. Needless to say, he was agony for a bit and now he has a fake tooth.
