CRISPR probably won't inherently. Its more so the concept that such a gene sequencer like CRISPR is possible that it could very well become possible in the near future.
Near future might be an exaggeration, but sure.
People seem to be a bit too excited about stuff like AI and CRISPR when it's often farther off than they think. (specifically, with AI, we're going nowhere right now)
AI in most cases except for learning related to industrial applications, is mostly a novelty right now. It is of course overblown but you never know.
