There was a very particular style of DDOS attack just now, it was mitigated.

CRISPR probably won't inherently. Its more so the concept that such a gene sequencer like CRISPR is possible that it could very well become possible in the near future.
Near future might be an exaggeration, but sure.
People seem to be a bit too excited about stuff like AI and CRISPR when it's often farther off than they think. (specifically, with AI, we're going nowhere right now)
AI in most cases except for learning related to industrial applications, is mostly a novelty right now. It is of course overblown but you never know.

I like how this thread went from "I'm meeting up with an mtf person" to discussing the progression of AI technology xD You guys could make a thread about AI!

I have no qualms nor animosity/hostility towards them.
It's their decision and provided their choice to become the opposite gender has no negative Impact In any way, shape or form on society or any persons Involved, then so be It.

I think i'm done after this but...do you think it will one day be possible for a MtF AI bot to come to light?

Now this would be Interesting.
Given the speed and nature of how technology Is advancing, It wouldn't surprise me If this comes around In the not too distant future.

Still, it's fascinating to think of and fantasize about a world where these things are possible. By then, I'm sure new social norms will have taken hold and we may be dealing with very different social issues.
Unfortunately I think it will take quite a while before anything happens in the general population aside from outcry when and if we have such technology. As with human cloning and flying cars, gene editing likely won't exactly take off as sci-fi authors envision.

The only time I have an issue with this or anything similar, is when people try to force it on you. That being said, I dont see myself dating a transsexual.

I'm pretty sure you're right there. I do like watching those films that explore the "what if" in cases of various technologies being developed. It certainly makes you think. Although, I'm sure some other crazy changes will occur well within our own lifespan.

I think that's a pretty common trend with some of the responses on here. Plenty of people aren't out to discriminate. But they don't want something imposing on how they live. I think "mutually amicable, coexistence" is probably many people's take on this.
