Is coding your hobby, or your career?

True, I started with Java but found out that marketing demand needs more than a language so I'm nearly perfect in PHP and JS also.

I do Graphic Design, Web Developing, Server Administrating and many more things as those are requirement for a full stack developer nowadays.

Both. I work for myself contracted to a company writing scripts in different languages, and mainly write python and bash scripts in my free time

I never write code for my career. It would be a total nightmare. Well, at least, for me. I, instead, earn money through other means and then decide what sort of projects I am gonna deal with. I don't like the idea of a mediocre level boss of average intelligence constantly messing up with what tools, languages, or libraries I will use or what sort of projects I am gonna develop.

At first it was a hobby, then it became an addiction, afterwards it became my career. Its been like that for more than a decade now and I am very happy that I chose that path as I feel the sense of never-ending cycles of fulfillment whenever I finish and solve a problem, task or a project.

hobby, for me. tech changes too often for me to want to persue it as a career. idk, it is something that keeps my interest pretty well.
