Physical attraction.
Knowing what being lonely means.
Knowing what the other person is like.

etc.

so psychology goes first, eh?
I'd myself bump being lonely up one more rank...
Though in some cases, physical attraction does the thing...
Hard to decide :/

I agree Relationships are mostly psychology, and relates to how they feel about that person and past feelings for others.

I didn't really try to rank them though...
But understanding human emotions and tought patterns is a principle of psychology.

Even now though, love is something that can't be really explained in detail. Sometimes it's happiness that keeps a couple together, being with someone isn't about making yourself happy, it's about making the person you love happy even though there might be some ups and downs, the feeling of being alongside the person you love is already enough to create happiness in yourself.

Love is a psychological, biological and chemical process at the same time. Needless to say it is extremely complex, and hard to explain.

I like your last point. I just do.

Its just like the Love Guru's "In order to love another, one must love themselves."

Sometimes I get depressed and don't want to be with anyone. Also, I've never been completely comfortable with others.
However, the psychological build of a human being defines oneself as what other people make him/her. It's not just you, it's all the interactions that shape you. For some people (like myself) it goes wrong though. Too much bad interaction is not healthy for you.

I think that being comfortable with yourself around them is a main factor. Being able to sit there, holding one another whilst one cries, and being able to twirl her around the kitchen whilst dancing to 80's music. It's about being all of your emotions, personalities and moods around them. Knowing you can talk to them about the most depressing thing, being able to be goofy and laugh with them, and being able sit in the sweet spot. Where you're both happy, but something troubles you. I think the you always need something to make you feel a little sad. It's what keeps us human.
