Yep, same thing happened to my little brother. Back whenever fidget spinners were a huge thing, him and his friends would spin theirs to their maximum velocity then touch it to their tooth because apparently it made cool noises. Needless to say, he was agony for a bit and now he has a fake tooth.
It's amazing the things we do and regret later.
If the fake tooth Is an Implant, nowadays (at a guess) It's around 5k for a single tooth.
