What most people who start going to the gym don't realise is that bulking up isn't done in the gym. It's done in the kitchen. When you're forcing yourself to get that one more rep, you need to be forcing yourself to take that one more bite or one more spoonful.I go to gym 5~6 days a week. First off, I do twenty minutes run on the treadmill, then the upper body, then the lower body. In total, it takes me 2 hours to finish off my work out excluding the 20 minutes run. Occasionally, me and my mate will swim if we feel like it.
You think you're eating enough? You're not. Plain and simple. It doesn't matter how much you're currently eating, try to eat twice as much. Be eating constantly. If you aren't feeling bloated for a good portion of the day, you're not eating enough.
If you can eat a stupid amount of food, and train hard once or twice a day, the results will show (after 4 weeks minimum).
