And It somehow seems to happen during public holidays, when every dentist Is closed.

The timing couldn't be worse.

Yep, same thing happened to my little brother. Back whenever fidget spinners were a huge thing, him and his friends would spin theirs to their maximum velocity then touch it to their tooth because apparently it made cool noises. Needless to say, he was agony for a bit and now he has a fake tooth.

It's amazing the things we do and regret later.

If the fake tooth Is an Implant, nowadays (at a guess) It's around 5k for a single tooth.

Yeah it is quite impressive some of the stupid things we come up with as kids just for the sake of amusement. And as far as I'm aware, he currently has a ceramic fake tooth and not an actual implant. I don't think my family could have afforded a 5k tooth over a fidget spinner accident lol

It could be a "bridge", whereby It's joined to the adjacent teeth.

It's a lot cheaper than an Implant, but does not last as long.

I'm usually pretty prompt when It comes to personal heath, so every 6 months (sometimes a little longer) I visit my dentist for a full checkup. Upon yesterday's visit, he said my gums are perfect with no signs of gingivitis nor any other form of gum disease. Good news there. Much to my surprise, he did find a very small cavity In one tooth which was filled there and then, and the rest of my teeth are perfect.

So who visits their dentist on a regular basis? If not, (why?) and how long has It been since your last examination?

6 months.
I am a Unique animal. eckhs dee

If you're from Europe. Go to Romania, the dentists are very skilled and professional.
They gave me 3 root operations, it was the best job I've ever seen. It only cost around $1,000. It's well worth the trip!

I had no Idea on both their professionalism and cost effectiveness.

I'll certainly keep this In mind.

Excellent to know.

My teeth are In perfect health thus far (I visit my dentist every 6 months), but It's not to say they'll remain as such.

True, it's always good to know where to go if they get infected or anything like that
