If you actually look at what all of the shady things mentioned in the EULA are actually used for you'd be surprised how wrong the /g/entonians really were. For example the keylogger thing. Not new - its been part of windows since early on Internet Explorer and is also one of the prominent features of Firefox and Chromium known as using the address bar for searching.
