The "keylogger" is a internet explorer feature that send your words to bing as you type in your task/search bar on the top of Edge and IE in order to give you recommendations on where to go exactly like google is doing with their search engine and web browser. This can all be disabled. There is no reason why you would leave Windows to a inferior (unless you do more complicated tasks like server hosting or just don't play vidya ever) OS just yet.

Take off your tinfoil hat: its not good for you hair.

you'd assume a child porn connoisseur like yourself would care a bit more about privacy

enjoy the partyvan

Well, I use a macbook and if I didn't have my macbook, I would most likely use Linux over Windows. Just use Wine lol.

Regarding what @BlueScreen said, you can't disable that shit no matter how hard you try because they don't want you to, don't believe me? Run something like peerblock and you can see every time Windows pings home. They do more than keylog the browser, we don't even know about the full extent of this mass surveillance but they include taking screenshots every time you install something and keylogging everything you type in the start menu (when you search for files, etc). You are surrendering your privacy to a 3rd party company that uses you to make money. Hurr durr tinfoil hat but someone out there knows and has access to everything you've ever done and how can you think that it will never be used against you in any way?

I'll quote my old post from another thread where we talked about exactly the same topic.

Woah kitty cat, calm your balls before you get castrated. You can rage all you want as long as you want, nobody is really giving a shit (except me since I'm writing this) about your opinions. I wonder if you've heard of it but there is such a right as the right to act freely, people are free to do whatever they want until they get jailed for something nasty. Rights are rights for a reason, a person doesn't have to administer them 24/7 like some kind of Illuminati nerd convinced the CIA is after his life.

If Micro/Soft-Penis wants to read my mails they are free to do so, I signed a contract afterall and I kinda like their products so I won't be changing that anytime soon. Backup done since ages so if anything fucks up I lose absolutely nothing while instead, the convenience of the OS is definitly to my convenience which has more importance than being a bit sniffed on. They're a business, not some wanna-be writers dystopian wet-dream so of course they are up to making some Benjamins and considering how widely used their products are they have quite the leverage to do so.

Mostly though, your logic in the last quote is that of a little childs. Sure, exaggerate two totally different experiences that sound kinda the same to force some shitty ideology down someones throat because obviously, the God Cat has figured everything out while the idiotic peasants are too ignorant to adhere to his Majesty's wisdom.

Everyone knows about it already.
Get real, Kid.

I think the majority of you are acting quite foolishly. Nobody is going to change anybody's mind. But in my eyes, this is not a thread about why you prefer Windows (or any Microsoft product), it is a thread debating the major security flaws incorporated in the new OS. Please keep it on that topic, if you wish to start another thread to debate why you believe we should all 'hiel auf der Microsoft', you are free to do so.

These days the NSA is all over everything and it would be easy as pie to make a deal with a huge corporation like Microsoft to help advance cyber investigations. Windows 10 had bad idea written all over it.

Linux is the master race here.

Windows 10 is so full of vulns and after doing enough analysis on the update I've concluded myself it's unsafe as well. If you're running Windows 10 you're already government property Wink Be careful what you search.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Windows, is in fact, NSA/Windows, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, NSA plus Windows. Windows is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another expensive component of a fully functioning Spy system made useful by the NSA core-spyware, reverse shell utilities and vital keylogging components comprising a full botnet as defined by Gen. J. Clapper.

Many computer users run a modified version of the botnet system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of spyware which is widely used today is often called “Windows”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the NSA system, developed by the NSA. There really is a Windows, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.

Windows is the cover: the program in the system that hides the spying resources from the other programs that you run. The cover is an essential part of a botnet, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete botnet. Windows is normally used in combination with the NSA spyware: the whole system is basically botnet with Windows added, or NSA/Windows. All the so-called “Windows” versions are really versions of NSA/Windows.

I'd like to complement you on your nice meme, but judging by your name and post history I'm scared this isn't actually satire. If you actually look at what all of the shady things mentioned in the EULA are actually used for you'd be surprised how wrong the /g/entonians really were. For example the keylogger thing. Not new - its been part of windows since early on Internet Explorer and is also one of the prominent features of Firefox and Chromium known as using the address bar for searching.

The moment you establish an Internet connection, your privacy Is exposed- VPN, Proxy or otherwise, It makes no difference If you're connected via your ISP.

If I were to stop using Windows, I may as well stop using the net.
