What would motivate us to move forward and develop if everything went our way, and everything was given to us? That'd be a boring way to live tbh.

How do you get motivation if everything you do just seems to be pointless? Or meaningless.

Either resort to a religion, or fix it yourself.

I once was religous to a degree but it never gave me advice or a path. Fixing it myself has to be the answer.

People just look for something to believe in to make them seem meaningful and their life not just one of the billions that already resist without meaning

I do believe in the existence of God.

Me i was always a believer (Kind of still am) But if they said "He will protect you through anything even death" which makes me think "Well how come he's not helping all these people that have died this year alone"

I don't even know what to think anymore

I do not believe in any god, i do not believe in the big bang either.

Why do i not believe in the big bang?
i mean how did nothing turn into a big bang & if there's nothing,
what came before the nothingness?

Some theories say that there was never really a 'nothingness' just a singularity of everything we have now, it just expanded extremely quickly with thermal stuff n shit causing background radiation yada yada yada science

I'm Atheist, but let me tell you this. What will be the point of religion, let alone living, if everything was given to us and everything was perfect. Where innocent people didn't die, cultural and regional conflicts never occur, no disease, etc. What would we learn? How would we move forward, if there's no catalyst for development. "God has plans" "That's just the way he works" is probably what you have been told, just like me. Just replace those phrases with coincedental and tragic events that unfortunately were bound to happen. Not saying that people dying, or wars are good; but living in a world with order and chaos is better than living in a world of pure order. Sounds crazy logically, but it's what makes us humans. Humans develop. Humans learn from mistakes. If we lived in a world of pure order, what would become of us? Tbh, that'd be boring af lol
