Should the death penalty be allowed?


I personally think it should be allowed, but I'll see your guys's arguments first.

I agree with Kinanizer. Being in jail, for some people, is more of a privilege than a punishment. You get 3 hots and a cot. Simple. And I don't think it's really like in the movies where people are always getting shanked and rapped.

I think the debate is supposed to be about your morals, not your wallet. To be honest, I think the death penalty shouldn't be used unless a person is beyond help. As we know, American prisons don't actually rehabilitate their prisoners.

I don't think they execute with bullets.
They either use electrical chairs or an injection.

That's not actually how it works in there.

Not in all jails, but there are some High Security ones where it does work like that.

So you're telling me in higher security prisons more rapes occur?

It all really just depends on the crime. Like murder=death penalty, or murder of a family member... that should be a slow painful death.
