Braces are not always the worst, i have them they do not annoy me at all.

The pain goes away, forgot to mention that. It can be sore for up to a week, maybe more if you have a low pain threshold. Then it's smooth sailing from there. The only other times you will experience pain is when you get them tightened, but the pain isn't even close to first getting them on. After tightening, the pain will only stay for 3 - 4 days max.

There isn't anything wrong with braces, if anything it helps you in the end because it'll make you're teeth straight which is good.
