Yes you can... Gun traffickers are still going to import guns illegally into the united states and sell them. People will still manage to get a hold of guns and kill people.

Quote:You can never eliminate guns. They will always be there. If the general populace can't acquire them, it doesn't mean they are still not being passed around on the black market. Hell, people can make guns from home if they wanted to.

Of course, of course. There will always be guns. And there will always be guns in Australia. If you REALLY wanted to, you could get your hands on one. The fact is, a gun control system would remove 40 million firearms from the US public making it incredibly difficult to do so. Sure, there will be the odd time someone does manage to get a hold of a gun and blast everyone up. But for most crooks, this is no longer an option.
The government can take my guns when I'm out of ammo. If you know what I mean. We have the right to bear arms under the constitution. Did you know technically once the president starts trying to take away our amendment rights he's considered a domestic terrorist and from there it's actually legal to rise up and get rid of him.

I find it terrifying that our government is trying to control us like it's a dictator ship. Half the reason for creating the our constitutional rights was so we could protect ourselves from the government and have something that says the government can fuck off. The government shouldn't be trying to help people all it does it fuck everything up. The government shouldn't fuck with the economy artificially inflating housing prices etc they should just stay away from most things.

Agreed on all of those fronts.

Unnecessary government intervention is why we exist as a country. It is our heritage to resist government control but now people seem to want their daily lives controlled by an incompetent congress detached from the rest of the country.

Exactly.
My guess is that Harvey doesn't live in the United States or he's a flaming liberal.

Clearly I don't live in the US. And I couldn't give less fucks about politics in general. To me, this isn't about politics or legislation or the second amendment, it's about saving innocent lives.

There is no need to take away guns. Guns do not kill people, People kill people.

Just because some people have abused the law doesn't mean you have to take them away.
