Your views on Gun Rights? - Cake - 08-20-2013 I personally think that 90% of gun restrictions should be removed. Of course you shouldn't be able to buy one legally if you're a former violent criminal. Why does our government want to further restrict and take away our 2nd amendment rights? I know this might sound crazy but guns don't kill people... People kill people. /discuss RE: Your views on Gun Rights? - Guardian - 08-20-2013 (08-20-2013, 02:37 AM)Skizzy Wrote: I personally think that 90% of gun restrictions should be removed. Guns are an integral part of our history and should maintain their place in our society. RE: Your views on Gun Rights? - Evangelist - 08-20-2013 As a gun owner myself I do not believe that limiting guns is smart or should be done. The responsibility lies on the gun carrier. If anything I believe they are handing gun permits way easier. That's a bit drastic, people will start talking smack to each other, and most likely there will be much more gun downs due to that. Plus are you sure you want to give a gun to EVERYONE? I'm pretty sure a psychopathic killer wouldn't care if you had a gun as well, he'd still blow your brains out. If anything, from what I have seen about limiting within the US boundaries, once those limitations are off, everything seems to calm down. If anything, it seems to make the issue less of a threat, and by that some of the restrictions could, and should be lifted just to ease tension. Well I mean here's an example, Colorado. After Marijuana has been legalized within the state, the economy has actually been jump boosted a bit, and the crime rate has dropped down as well. Just imagine if such a law was in Chicago, crime rates would drop. And..gosh I can't remember which country, but they legalized all drugs such as cocaine, Marijuana, and so fourth, and the funny thing is the crime rate dropped, addiction has lessened, and the country's economy is on the up rise. Which is crazy in a sense, who would have thought that's all you had to do, let people have their way. RE: Your views on Gun Rights? - Harvey - 08-20-2013 Maybe because gun control eliminates mass shootings? Maybe there's some relation between the fact that the US has 14 times the population of Australia and somehow 104 times the firearm-caused death rate? Please watch all of this to realise how stupid you sound. And then part two. I'm talking about clumsy and irresponsible people. It should not be limited in any way however. I mean look at that elementary school shooting, that kid stole the guns he used. (08-20-2013, 04:05 AM)Guardian Wrote:Well I mean look at it from this stand point. You know they have a gun so you'd be less inclined to attack them and they know you have a gun so they would be less inclined to attack you. It just meets an equilibrium of fear.(08-20-2013, 03:07 AM)Skizzy Wrote:(08-20-2013, 02:44 AM)Guardian Wrote: Its all about control.
