What was the first Linux distro you ever decided too experiment with. Not heard about but you actually went and tried it out.
Mine was Ubuntu about 5 years ago.

Same here, Ubuntu, before that did all that unity garbage. Now my choice is Debian.

I started off on Raspbian in 2012 (Yeah it's just Debian but whatever) since the Raspberry Pi 1A was the first time I ever saw Linux in my life. I remember being really confused and not knowing how to do anything, but it looked cool and using the terminal/command line/whatever it's called was something I never really did before then so I ended up learning the basics with it.

I feel like about 80% of us are going to say Ubuntu.
Also, Ubuntu.

My first used distro was probably Yellow Dog Linux (I think was the name) and I was running it on one of those clear oddly shaped plastic Macs my dad found at work. Next first distro that I knew what I was actually doing was Ubuntu.

I was a hipster back in the day, and Ubuntu was way too mainstream for me
So I went with Linux Mint. Still mainstream, but I felt better about myself
the days....
I ended up somehow breaking the entire GUI because I didn't know how to linux
