Good old Windows 7 Ultimate. I was using Windows 10, but I find that it has too many bugs/annoying stuff, so I reverted back to Windows 7.

EndeavourOS (basically Arch with easy installer + packages) with KDE Plasma desktop, and Windows 10 inside a KVM GPU-passthrough VM for playing games

Clever.

The performance would be almost on par with the host/physical machine.

I used to have Arch. My plan was to get really used to the system, and then install blackarch.
But I just got sooo excited about blackarch!! It made me like drool on the computer cuz i longed so much to install it.
So i couldnt hold myself back anymore and just installed Blackacrh. (The hacking sub-distro of Arch).
Its so much fun!! Biggrin I literally wake up every day and just stare at my Blackarch xD

Im also going to install regular Arch onto my other spare computer., cheap computer.
And on my stationary PC, I have an SSD and a hard drive. Im gonna move everything from my harddrive onto SSD.
And then dual boot Arch/Windows 10 BiggrinBiggrinBiggrin !! I feel so hooked on arch, I feel like ive rly hit home and my computering is rly exciting.
Everyone should just do like i did and install arch Wink

Nope... Everyone should do what I did and install OpenBSD on an AltiVec PowerPC - the Vanishing Computer Standard!

Got Windows 10? Then you installed an advertising platform that masquerades as an OS and worse spies on you and lies about it - got Google Android? Then you installed the same! Got OSX etc, etc...

The thing missing from your machine (Irregardless of it being Linux or not) and your mobile phone are a couple of computer standards that where around for generations and now have slowly vanished from your computing workflow entirely to be replaced with Garbage from Intel and Microsoft.

Have you heard about the GDPR and how google is actually breaking the Law?

Things like Hamming Code research SECDED in ECC Ram components and why you should choose Fully buffered ECC Ram instead of non-ECC Ram - then ask yourself "is your Raspberry Pi using ECC Ram?" What about that Core 2 Laptop ex windows Laptop you happily liberated with Linux before even contemplating the Intel Micro Code blackbox firmware and using CISC instead of RISC which is just stupid!

Did you know where all that crap in the news came from about TOTAL INFORMATION ASSURANCE & DOMINANCE?

It came from a guy called Admiral John Marlan Poindexter - who was rapidly FIRED - that's where the expression  "don't be a poindexter or No poindexter" comes from!

All the Unix guys look at all the Linux guys and we just shake our head muttering "Lunics!"

WAYLAND - SYSTEMD - NANODROID... These are on the face of it standards that will never be popular and you need to review how you think your operating system works along with what you would class as a secure OS whilst it evades standards that came along decades before it started to get a huge up-tick in popularity to the detriment of Unix philosophy because Linux no matter how good it is for you ATM - will never replace Unix!

Garbage in - Garbage out - Your analysis is only as good as your Data & your Machine!

I think arch is much more cool than that, sorry. Smile Most unix may be thorough, but still kinda lame.

If you review the online documentation about it you'd find some interesting fact's, at the time free-scale produced better chips than intel in terms of both performance and speed. They got sued over it in court and it was a proven fact that the free-scale chip's where significantly faster in all area's with extensive documentation but they didn't want to admit it at the time because free-scale is manufactured in Russia!

So they doctored the results and performance times even though the graphics charts showed that the original PPC chips where significantly faster and had far better performance than anything made by Intel. An despite getting sued for it, years later what are they doing!? Answer: they're back at it again.

If you expect similar performance well now you'll be paying TOP Dollar for a Talos II Raptor from IBM - an all because of Microsoft's deception and there insistence that OpenBSD is a legacy system despite having chunks of BSD code inside Windows.

Thing's that make me smile? Watching Googles Data-Center catch fire and burn to the ground!
