Ubuntu, for I am a simple creature with simple needs. My tower runs Windows 10, but that's mostly for gaming and the like. A lot of my work, both artistic and otherwise, is conducted on my laptop. I may be a bit paranoid, but I don't trust Windows with anything more than the strictly superficial.

You're not paranoid at all.

Although Microsoft obviously suggests otherwise, Windows 10 Telemetry, Is certainly an Invasion of one's privacy- both on a device and personal level.

Then again, it's not like Macintosh or anything Google-related is any better. Most company-created/mainstream OS' inherently harvest as much information from you as possible. I'm hardly going to throw a fit because it's the nature of the beast, but that's exactly why I don't deal with the beast anymore.

I've actually recently even moved from Ubuntu to Mint due to some concerns with the former and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Do remember to apply your very own settings/Implementations.

The three main forms of online protection are:

* Privacy- not being able to "see" what you're doing.
* Anonymity- not being able to "Identify" you.
* Uniqueness- must be part of the "majority", and not minority.

Aye. Though my knowledge has been mostly cursory, I've been tinkering with it to fit my needs more than anything. Honestly, I don't think there's any OS I'd feel comfortable installing and calling it done.

Short of TempleOS, obviously--
