how compatible are windows apps though
Nice.

I think most apps should work.
my current pc isn't even close to reaching the minimal requirements

welp shit, seems like a good os
Haha, yeah, I heard yuou need like atleast 16GB ram for it.
I actually bought myself a little Kali-book a while ago, its a hacking laptop,
it costed $500, but for that price, it got shortwired and died when I tried a bruteforce attack with john.
So yah, you need pretty good PC specs for it. Blush

Why not only kali?
Nah, jk. Im mostly using MSW10,
but I am starting to make the transaction over to using purely Blackarch.
Ive installed a new SSD with 1K gig with it,
and currently dual booting on my stationary, and running Blackarch natively on my laptop.
But all the more advanced tools like john, empire, metasploit and more are much easier to use
on linux imo. some of them dont even work on MSW.

I've experienced similar Incidents with cheap systems.

I no longer purchase Inexpensive laptops. The power of SSDs, Quad Core CPUs, 32 GB of Ram and the GTX 1070/1080 speaks for Itself. Every penny spent, was well worth It.

Depends on your CPU. Higher core count generally will mean lower maximum overlock. Not always though, I overclocked my 3950x to 4.5GHz all-core stable. Kind of also depends on the silicon lottery, because I know some people can’t get over 4.3 all-core on the same CPU.

And I thought my computer was a potato. Yours cant be much better than mine then, Ive heard of like... even higher than yours.
And I also have a higher core count than you, so if I can keep up with "titans" like you, maybe it isnt so bad for me, but.....
maybe you should turn up the overclock volume a bit more? Wink

I wouldn’t say I’m a titan. You’ve got more cores than I do? The only CPUs that have more cores than 16 are TRs.

Are you running a Ryzen Threadripper? If so, you should post your specs in the build thread.
