Along with XP, Windows 7 Is the most stable OS I've experienced.
Definitely is for me. I don’t feel comfortable using anything else.

They got sued over it in court and it was a proven fact that the free-scale chip's where significantly faster in all area's with extensive documentation but they didn't want to admit it at the time because free-scale is manufactured in Russia!

So they doctored the results and performance times even though the graphics charts showed that the original PPC chips where significantly faster and had far better performance than anything made by Intel. An despite getting sued for it, years later what are they doing!? Answer: they're back at it again.

If you expect similar performance well now you'll be paying TOP Dollar for a Talos II Raptor from IBM - an all because of Microsoft's deception and there insistence that OpenBSD is a legacy system despite having chunks of BSD code inside Windows.

Thing's that make me smile? Watching Googles Data-Center catch fire and burn to the ground!
Thats so deep, hahahah, pretty interesting stuff though. I have never thought about that before, I dont do that much 'thinking' at all actually when it comes to operating system. I go for what is suitable for me. I love bleeding edge. I love the idea that i can use this cutting edge technology, and that my system IS vulnerable. Nothing is written in stone. Blackarch is the operating system I use; command line only. And that system is MADE for hacking, can freebsd actually offer a distro only for hacking? Wink And yeah, I love the minimalistic concept, to strip the entire system down to the most basic functionality. But yeah, I actually dont do that much thinking into statistics and whats faster than what, I just go for what i love using. Smile

Windows 7 support ended in January & XP ended last year, I find it astonishing that people use either, let alone using Windows 10 - what with all the leaks about how much it spies on your for the Republican party and by using it you endorse Fascism according the the EFF & Stallman but then I digress if its a work environment you have no choice because that's what the people at work have bought into. Trump OS.

People in other countries buying or purchasing the Russian S-400 Missile Defence System get Elbrus OS and Linux as standard on there own secure CPU with it's free OS because Russia has thrown out Microsoft & and it's TPM 2.0 Chips in all there government departments in disgust - declaring that it smacks of typical capitalist imperialism.

The USA swiftly (pun) accused China, Russia & North Korea of the attacks against Sony & Swift, when its already a documented fact that those attacks where carried out by its own intelligence agency and then used as a disinformation campaign which is ludicrous as there is no reason for Russia, China or North Korea to attack they're own computer networks!

Joe Biden came out and said it when he said "these guys have a technocracy" damn straight they do and in a technocracy word spreads quickly as to the who and why, especially when they start saying we're going to attack them, then later back-track because they're system's have all been secured against the USA.

Oh well more fool you, Microsoft's Crypto API or CAPI inside Infinion Chips to reduce your cryptographic functions - meh it is what it is!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DEC_Prism
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_PRISM
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRISM_%28s...program%29

Windows 3.51 was the only version of Windows that supported PPC with the NewShell which later became Internet Explorer intergrated into your machine with DRM - the operating system from Microsoft then explodes in size over it's lifetime of iterations going from being a simple 90MB distribution into a raging 32GB in size, a job well done.

An it's what's in the open source specifications of the NEW TPM 2.0 that really floats my boat from a programmer perspective, it has decryption functions built into the CHIP to make hacking you faster!

If I sound a little sarcastic it's probably because I've decided to throw my lot in with the OpenBSD crowd and call Microsoft what it is utter Crap!

You can get the Decryption routines for the TPM chip - right off the Trusted Computing Group homepage...

Trust... Microsoft, Apple & Google lost mine a long time ago!

The great thing about old Windows NT 3.51 is it uses the much older IPX and Novel PKI instead of TCP so you can make like a hermit kingdom and seclude your daily work-flow from the internet and when people ask about an internet connection, just smile and say "No"

Sick an tired of all the crap updates from Chrome, Firefox and Thunderbird taking over your daily driver with there own Cr-api Crypto Certificates - then the easy solution is to roll back the clock. And install a work-flow that didn't require any of it to begin with.

Watching a Digitally Rights Managed (DRM) Operating System grow is like watching a Boil slowly fill with PUSS, it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger until eventually it POP's and you get to watch the Puss oozing out of it!
