The deep web (or dark web) is a place where people post and share child porn, videos of murdering innocent homeless people and harvesting their organs to put them on the black market, and millions of other interesting things. If you're into purchasing organs and drugs online or looking at child porn videos and child abuse images, the deep web (or dark web) is the place for you.

People focus too much on the illegal aspects of TOR. There's already plenty sites for drugs, child abuse, and other messed up stuff on the regular ol' internet. People talk about TOR for the wrong reasons.

It is true that TOR was built for anonymity online. However, every week there is at least 1 article about a new TOR exploit. Plus, TOR is very frustrating to use a lot of times when you want to use the internet normally. So, overall, in my opinion, I'd just stick with a normal browser without TOR.

I'm speaking of the actual network, not the browser.

Well, %96 is an estimate.

That estimate is undoubtedly incorrect. Not even somewhat close to accurate. I'd be really surprised if the "dark web" made up 1% of the Internet, let alone 96%.

Agree.

Given the nature of the net and It's continual growth by the minute, It's almost Impossible to put a definitive statistic as a percentage rate on the Dark Web.
