What CPU chip people prefer AMD or Intel?

I've never been keen on AMD.

I have It on a couple of test systems, and It doesn't perform anywhere near as good as Intel.

I do feel like AMDs new processors have surpassed Intels. Intel was on top for so long they can't figure out what to do now. Their i9 chips seem like a bit of a stretch. While AMD has had their chips in consoles for a while now, they're slowly creeping into the laptop market.

I prefer AMD and have sense ryzen 5, As always buy a lot of ram.

all the laptops I had always had AMD, so I stuck with using it never had issued on my end.

Unless there is a marked price-per-power difference, i always go with amd. I like to keep competition alive. Plus, lately, their ryzen cpus are great.

AMD brought much, much needed competition to the CPU market.

They've been killing it with Ryzen, Threadripper and Epyc, and I can't wait for 3rd gen.
