I was talking to my boss about the TOR network and he thinks something recently happened to it, or is in the development of happening to it, I haven't heard anything but I was wondering if anyone knew?

Not really tor gets updated more than once you know. Just more people are trying to control its exit nodes since they showed it on Mr.Robot but thats about it I think.

TOR's behavior varies considerably, depending on who controls the majority of the exit nodes that you're running through. IMHO it's more honey than bees lately; try I2P or Freenet if you're looking for something different.

I've also considered this, i would feel much safer using something that i built rather than what someone else built, I'm not sure where to start though.
