Personally, one is generally patriotic to ones own country. Especially if one is part of a totalitarian dictatorship then one would not accept blame for a global pandemic

China is a dodgy country itself. I reckon they are doing it for money. Imagine, only Wuhan was infected with the whole virus and literally did not get out of that city. They “cure” all the active cases and somehow had the “medicine” for it which they sold to France. Something fishy happening there.
