[Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - Crimin4L - 04-08-2020 Was checking out this video and thought I had to share it with you guys. I feel like this dude is lying through his teeth! Watch this and tell me what you think 🥴 RE: [Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - mothered - 04-08-2020 Quote:I feel like this dude is lying through his teeth! Naturally he'll support his own country, so In my view, there will be some element of not telling the truth. Yup, sadly this is how the world works. Instead of being truthful and transparent, people in charge are always shady :L RE: [Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - mothered - 04-08-2020 (04-08-2020, 06:22 AM)Crimin4L Wrote:(04-08-2020, 05:01 AM)mothered Wrote:Quote:I feel like this dude is lying through his teeth! You've got to love the way politicians present themselves with their fictitious facade when questioned by the media. RE: [Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - Drako - 04-08-2020 Um, actually China is to blame for this whole situation. The Chinese government tried hiding the evidence of the virus even existing. And WHO did a terrible job of handling this. They didn't even advise against trade or travel with China. If China didn't do what it did in the infancy of the virus in late 2019, warned the world, and took precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, tens of thousands of people would still be alive right now. I don't blame the people of China, I blame their government. I knew the CCP was corrupt before any of this happened, and if this isn't proof for the world to see, then I don't know what is. You basically hit the head of the nail with this whole post xD RE: [Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - Jiggly - 04-14-2020 To be honest, I agree with several of the posts here. However, I would like to add, I also think governments of many nations around the world have been far too slow responding to this, and on a global stage, we were not ready for this. Naturally, this is easy to say with hindsight. This is a completely unprecedented situation, and nobody would have been sufficiently prepared. Regardless, I hope each nation learns from this, and implements new policies, practices and perhaps more importantly - communication protocols for this sort of thing. For all we know, another, more deadly pandemic could occur next year. We have no way of knowing when it could happen again. In terms of governments lying: While I do think the Chinese government are a shady entity, I would also argue western governments are no less shady. Our media is also going to frame China badly, because that's what biased media does. We are equally at fault for allowing the virus to spread within Europe and America, and within our own national borders. Pointing fingers isn't going to make us recover any faster. RE: [Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - partiniu - 04-15-2020 Yah you can. CHina is the country that has no democracy, is trying to shut down Hong Kong as well as lies about their economical state RE: [Thoughts?] Chinese Minister on COVID-19: 'You can't blame China' - mothered - 04-16-2020 (04-14-2020, 12:34 PM)Jiggly Wrote: I would like to add, I also think governments of many nations around the world have been far too slow responding to this, and on a global stage, we were not ready for this. This ^ If action was Immediately taken with the appropriate precautionary measures In place, we would not be where we stand today. |
