TL-WN422G and antenna for long distance #1
Hello,

I have that Wi-Fi adapter (TL-WN422G):

I want to buy Wi-Fi antenna which will give me very long range. I was thinking about something like this:
Parabolic Wi-Fi antenna -> Link Picture

Also I don't know if that parabolic Wi-Fi antenna could be connected to my Wi-Fi adapter saying that I'm not very good at this as I don't know much about antennas. I want to achieve very long range at the price of 100 Pounds. Can someone link to antenna which is very good and have very long range ? I would prefer to buy it on Amazon UK saying that Ebay is not an option in here. The third party shops should be also alright.

I appreciate every help

What I meant by very long range is that I want to buy antenna which will have a very long range (maximum range) according to price if it's make sense.

NetGear AC1200 is probably the best way to go for that price. Will give you ~30 meters.

I just need antenna to my Wi-Fi adapter and as far as I know NetGear AC1200 is a router (at least looks like it as I googled it).

I don't need router, I need just antenna.

It's not a router it's a wifi extender but I get what you mean now. You probably have to whip something up on your own like this I think:

The thing is that I have Wi-Fi adapter to which I can attach such device as antenna. Now I have searched on Amazon antenna for my adapter as there are many of them I'm simply can't find the good one for myself as I said earlier I don't know much about antennas Link. Just to remind I'm buying in UK and because of that I have 100 pounds not dollars :Thumbs-Up:. I think at that price definitely I should get something.

Well thanks for posting but you already posted what I already know :troll:. I have my Wi-Fi adapter and I need some pretty bad ass antenna to 100 pounds from Amazon UK or similar website which sells in UK. Also the antenna will be in my room so there will be some buildings blocking signals :Slant:. Does opening window change a thing ? :troll:

BTW I don't understand why you using range extender ? Can't you simply connect it right away to router ?
