If anything from what I've seen from successful gaming channels it's either very top of the line content (leaks, interviews, etc), or comedy. I mean just think about it for a second, skill can only get you so far, and get so many views. But comedy makes the person want to come back more. So if anything if I were you I would try and round up a group of friends and just make the channel into something you can have fun with, and the Youtube gaming community could have fun with too. (Examples of successful comedy gamer youtuber: SeaNanners, Hutch, hell The Syndicate Project even fits.)

I just need more friends who game and are into gaming on youtube. As Seananners said. It is hard to get started in the gaming community on youtube nowa days without someone to help you!
