Skype has always been an edgy program.. the fact that people can easily DDoS you through skype and their security system being utter shit.

I figured that much. If the program is owned by some multi-million dollar corporation, you better believe there are logs involved. I don't think they're intentionally trying to spy on my fap sessions, they're just covering their asses legally.
The safest way to chat is IRC is it not?

No, irc is good, but check cryptocat (i think thats the name), waste, systems like that. Encrypted chat.

More than 90% of instant messengers keep logs. Anything you use, has logs. Aim, IRC, Skype, Facebook, MSN...

Yes for legal reasons, however Skype is very controversial as they actively scan the logs.
