Darn! I've always been suspicious of Skype. Have only been using it for the last few weeks, and yesterday when I logged in I got one of those "please wait while we are making your experience more enjoyable" or words to that effect notice. Well I hate it to wait to begin with, particularly when Skype says I have to wait pretending it's doing something for me instead of Skype. And then of course while I was waiting had time to think about what Skype was doing while I was waiting.
So I guess I'm asking a question too, exactly what is Skype doing when it's asking me to wait?

It's updating.
As I recall, group chats ARE end-to-end encrypted, I'll have to test.

I remember starting out on IRC and then moving on to other forms of communication... It's funny that the old ways are still going strong

Everything we do is monitored by someone anymore.... Yet while all this happens celebs sue people over privacy... What about companies and the government...
