Safe Mode Boot #1
So I come to you in need of help.

I am currently facing the biggest problem and I am yet to be able to fix it.

Recently, my GFX card blew and I had to remove it from my PC.

After doing so, when I booted my PC, everything would work perfectly fine (BIOS shows and MOBO logo etc) but as soon as Windows kicks in, the screen goes black.

The only way I have been able to get around this is to boot my PC in safe mode, but this is rather annoying.

So I was wondering if there was any possible solutions to getting my PC to boot up normally.

I'd greatly appreciate any possible solutions and will gladly try it out.

I am very hesitant to format my harddrive and reinstall windows however.

So I'd much prefer solutions other than that.

Do you have an onboard GPU?
Because it's quite obviously you don't see anything if you don't have your GPU installed.

How do I find out if I have an onboard GFX card or not?

When you boot up normal all you see is a black screen, right?
If that's the issue then I think you don't have an onboard GPU, because you won't see really anything without a GPU. To fix this you'd need to buy a GPU.

But surely if the problem was the lack of onboard GFX card, I wouldn't be able to see anything in safe mode either.
Just spitting the first thing that comes to mind onto this post.
May be wrong.

Windows is using the driver for the card you no longer have plugged in. Uninstall the driver, you should be good.
