Russia, US, Syria 10-13-2015, 11:26 PM
#1
So there is a bunch of things going around on how Russia started air strikes in Syria and the US claims they are not hitting ISIS targets but instead are hitting rebels who are against ISIS.
What do you think Russia is really there for?
I think they are there to piss the US off which they seem to be doing good at right now.
On top of that do you think in your opinion that further conflict will occur and that possibly US/Russia will exchange any fire?.

Russia is there to fuck ISIS up, there's no questions asked but that isn't something it gives a single fuck about lol, there's probably few deals going on between Syria And Russia but, again, this isn't what matters the most here. The thing is that the conflict between Russia and USA is years old and the reasons are public, and what's currently happening can't get anymore hilarious, what Russia has done within the last few weeks compared to what the US and its "Allies" have done is making these ones look like a fucking joke and is revealing the truths behind these stupid lies that we've been hearing for the past 4 years.

It's simply a matter of Terminology
Anyone that isn't Pro-Assad is a 'rebel'. This means ISIS, FSA, and whoever else is involved. Russia is there to crack down on rebels. They are Pro-Assad. They have been providing Assad weapons and shit since the start of the conflict.
The US is there to rid Syria of it's Government, It's backing a subset of the rebels trying to rid Syria of Assad. Only problem is that they disagree with ISIS as well - so they're now fighting some rebels and the government... making the whole thing a big cluster fuck that they ultimately cannot "win". Russia can potentially "win" by successfully putting Assad back into complete control of the Syrian region. There is a clear combatant and a clear winner. The US doesn't know who they want in control, but they don't want Assad and they don't want ISIS.
This is just another proxy conflict between the US and Russia to add to the very long list:
Chinese Civil War
Iran Civil War
Korean War
Cuban Revolution
Vietnam War
Are just the major ones you've probably heard of. Theres a much longer list of smaller conflicts.

My opinion is: Get rid of the worst of them, and keep the best of them. Then help improve the best of them.
The US has lied (or assumed) about Syria before. Like the chemical weapon usage "from Assad" about a year back.
I don't know too much about the situation, so I don't want to say things that I don't know are true. But I will say, how much worse is Russia than the US? And if they are getting things done, let them.
Summary: the Middle East is one big mess.

At least Russia is doing something. The United States is arming terrorists who are against ISIS with high power rifles and tanks. Russia on the other hand, which Im betting they dont broadcast on a lot of US news stations have actually killed more rebels/terrorists, among them a lot of ISIS members in one day than the US has done in a long time. Yes, Russia may want to partner up with the Syrian regime, but who gives a shit, at least they are doing something.
And so far Russia also has not bombed a fucking hospital, which is well known to all nations currently in Syria because they think the doctors may be unknowingly helping a ISIS member getting back to health. If it was up to me we'd just fucking nuke the US and the world would be so much better of.
