Didn't agree with what they said on SAO (and one or two others), but agreed Cowboy Bebop is a great first watch. They also recommended Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Baccano!, Psycho-pass, and a few other favorites.

There's a lot of effort put Into It, and certainly would've taken a fair bit of time to complete.

I'm wondering when they did this, as some popular anime are not included.

Well, they did include a footnote that they weren't able to include some.

This is a great idea. I'l take up your dare, if you don't mind.
I'm going to try and make it into a static website/webapp and launch it with netlify because I'm a poor sob who can't afford much else.
