DAZ3D is similar to Poser (Poser is much more powerful though): http://poser.smithmicro.com/ it is just a poser, think of it as a scene maker... no advanced animation or modeling.

wow... DAZ Studio is still alive, I used it like in 2005 (I think) to make some images for a game!

Thanks for this share, you brought back nice memories, I used to be a 3D animator/modeler using 3D Studio Max... I was also involved in making games pretty much!

Thanks again and Peace
That's awesome, why not show us some of the stuff you made?

DAZ3D is getting better and better according to lots of people who have been using the product for years. I haven't used the program for long but what I do see is that there is an extreme amount of products available. Every day new products appear in the DAZ3D shop and then you also have other sites like renderosity and runtime dna. Another benefit is that you can use most poser stuff as well.

Thank you... Unfortunately, that was ages ago (I even lost my backups), what I did was simple, I had a model (her name was Biko) and I posed her to take snapshots then I included the images in my game, it was a snake like game made with GM6 (Game Maker Studio now... by Yoyo) link is here: https://www.yoyogames.com/studio

The scenario and pose changes as the player advanced in the game... that's all, nothing to write home about really... but was fun!

If you want... we can make something similar for HC! You do the art work and I will code the game, I am sure people here can help us with graphics (the forum is full of GFX geeks), I think it would take us a week or so to setup a nice (cute in size and functionality) game! If interested we can make a thread and proceed Smile

Peace

Sounds interesting, however I'm already working on a game(webgl/three.js). So much things I have to learn about three.js and I just don't have a lot of spare time.

some software like DAZ3D and Zbrush made for design specific things like ugly face(zbrush) , nice bodies (daz)
maya is powerful for create ideas but sometimes for more details need other software or plugins
for make an animation use these together for best output.

sorry for involvement
I hope this things be useful for you Biggrin
