What if some people refuse to pay? There are people like that. Make a bet or something of the sort; not deliver what was in the bet to the loser.

I will surely find a solution for this problem. People who refuse to pay will of course get a negative view from the other participants.

If I had a working laptop I would do this + speed record doing so.

Oh, and for the above problem; make sure every applicant sends 50 SP to a trusted middleman, who would then payout the pot to the winner. I suggest using Oni if he agrees. Make their application/submission void if they do not pay.

It is SP. If someone refuses to, I can simply take their SP and give it to the winner.

I've done this with a working login system for members of various access levels, permission features, user profiles, email and verification code authentication. I can't release the source however as it was for contracted work.

To me, this just looks like a skids toolbox once it gets a few submissions (if at all, based on the activity level within this thread since it was created). Why not a challenge that is to solve a specific problem instead?

You could've created a competition to see who could make the best forum backend, but IMO, I just see it as a trick used for a leeching attempt. Change this to something else.

Trust me, I have no point in leeching login systems. I am a beginner, and simply want to learn other languages than Python, and PHP.

Fair enough. I just think a login system is a bit extreme for a challenge, indicated by the responses on this thread for submissions.

Is there also some other sort of "punishment"? Like maybe to make more out of their Sp and delivering that to the winner. I only say this because refusing would be unfair and really shan't go unnoticed nor unpunished. After all a game of poker could get you killed, if you know what I mean.

A login system isn't hard, a secure login system on the otherhand...
