I tried it out a bit as I got very interested. This is easier than Blender imho. I never understood blender. Well I like it. I even made a dancing animation will post it soon.

DAZ and Blender are way different. It's better comparing C4D, 3DSmax and Blender with each oter.

IMO DAZ is more focused on characters and posing and stuff. While in Blender for example you make stuff like chairs, airplanes, boats whatever you want to model. It's just different. If you're interesting in modeling I would go with Blender if you want a free option. Otherwise Cinema4D (it's getting way better then 3DSmax) Or 3DSmax (Kinda outdated TBH, They need to bring a big update)

I've been thinking about getting into 3D so this may be a good place to start with it. Thanks for the awesome tutorial!

DAZ3D is similar to Poser (Poser is much more powerful though): http://poser.smithmicro.com/ it is just a poser, think of it as a scene maker... no advanced animation or modeling.

wow... DAZ Studio is still alive, I used it like in 2005 (I think) to make some images for a game!

Thanks for this share, you brought back nice memories, I used to be a 3D animator/modeler using 3D Studio Max... I was also involved in making games pretty much!

Thanks again and Peace
