you can get some good contract deals from third-party companies that's what im doing to help build my credit because of Vodafone and shit wouldn't let me start a contract.
But for £50 a month i got an iPhone 8 64gb free Spotify for a year and a ps4

ah nice i had sim only deal with three for nearly 2 years. i got s9 for 30 quid a month with unlim text n min with 30gb data and paid 80 up front. total cost of ownership for 2 years is 800 but got 100 quid cash back which is nice.

that is a pretty nice deal and I never thought about a sim only though would be pretty good for a back up phone

i just recently got my s9. but i made a mistake. as i've nearly been with them for 2 years i could of prolly got a better than by pretending to leave. my friend did that and got 1 pound off his monthly contract.

probably and a pound doesn't sound much to be fair not that its a massive gap but the most they'd probably take off is like two i guess

Sounds like you got some really cool stuff. Although, I don't think I'd ever spend 50 a month on a phone. I'd rather purchase the PS4 outright and get something different. To each their own though. I've never spent more than roughly a tenner a month on my phone, and purchased phones outright/done giffgaffs phone loan option (aka, just pay for the phone and you're not held to anything else so you can leave/choose a different phone etc).
How long do you have your contract for?
I only go with a contract because it helps me figure out my month a lot better on the basis I don't have to worry about being down x amount but my contract is 14 months I think it was.

Be careful getting a contract with 3, I worked as a debt collector agent and we held contracts for 3 and a lot of people got into large amounts of debt from their contract renewing from people thinking it just ends I'd advise you have a look at your T&C's because you need to give a 30 day written notice informing them that you opt out once your contract runs out.
