So I pretty much burnt myself out on Minecraft in the past 2 years.. It sucks.. I really want to start playing and enjoying it like I used to, but It's just not fun anymore. You do the SAME thing.

Start > Wood > Stone > House/Base > Food > Iron > Farm > Diamond > Better base > Enchant/Explore done.

It's just.. I can make a world and be done with it within an hour, lol. I enjoy multiplayer but there aren't a lot of strict vanilla servers that aren't griefed/xrayed.

I've tried mods/texpacks/breaks.

Any suggestions to make it fun again?

So, obviously you've explored the Nether, have you tried making a base there? How about going on a search for some of those hidden temples, or pyramids? Not interested, or have already done, make a song on the music boxes. They make different sounds depending on the surface they're on. And last i can think, do a Let's Play for Minecraft on YouTube. That's about all i can think of. I hope this helps you rekindle your old love for the game.

There's a friendly server I have with a cousin of mine, maybe we will let you on if you won't destroy anything...we are running bukkit with wireless redstone mod, dragon travel, and variable triggers.

It's really fun, we're building an emerald city in the sky. A self sustaining city.

i would recommend using MVC
MVC = minecraft version swither or whatever, anyway, you can switch back to almost any version, older ones are more challenging.
