Man forcibly dragged off US flight #1
Quote:Jayse D Anspach, who posted the footage tweeted: "#United overbooked and wanted four of us to volunteer to give up our seats for personnel that needed to be at work the next day."
"No one volunteered, so United decided to choose for us. They chose an Asian doctor and his wife."
"The doctor needed to work at the hospital the next day, so he refused to volunteer," Mr Anspach added.
"Ten minutes later, the doctor runs back into the plane with a bloody face, clings to a post in the back, chanting, "I need to go home."

United has always been a piece of shit when it comes to overbooking.

Spoiler:
I've personally had issues with their overbooking and had to stay at the origin longer, on more than one occasion.

If you watched the videos, you would've saw his face smash into the arm rest as he was being dragged out of his seat.

I dont understand this shit. If the doctor had to work at the hospital the next day, then let him fucking stay on the plane. They should have maybe picked the people that purchased the closet time to takeoff? If you understand that..

Let's not forget that overbooking is when they sell more tickets than they can accommodate for.

I think that's besides the point. People paid for their ticket, they shouldn't be forced off the plane, period.

Why do they do that? A mistake? Or because they think X number of people will cancel or delay their flight?
