( For some reason, shy girls tend to be rather un-attractive ) So it may actually prove to be rather helpful for you. Unto the point where you said that you didn't blame anyone for rejecting you because your looks. That honestly shouldn't be something that you should be thinking. Personality is worth so much more, and if a person turns you down because of looks, then they were obviously not worth your time.

Now, over to your question(s).

I would say that giving a girl something at Valentine's Day is rather, strange. ( Though that is mainly because people never make a big fuss about that day where I live ) Though it would most likely be looked at as sweet by many people around the world. Though I would recommend you give it to her yourself, even though your shy. ( And if something actually happens between you two, tell her that you are a shy person. But don't just sprout it out )
Yeah, sometimes when she walks by I tell myself, "Talk to her already". I'll try my best.

I do care a lot for others. I normally put people first before me. ^^

If you think you could manage, buy her a rose, give it to her and say happy valentines day.
See what happens from there.
I was going to do that. Thanks, too!

You sound a lot like me. With me, i can talk to chicks just fine, it's just about finding the right times to talk to them. I think it could be the same with you, you'd probably just need some 1 on 1 to get to know her. Try getting her number, even if you don't ask her for it. As weird as it may be at first you just have to text her a few times before things get flowing. Trust me, it'll be awkward as shit the first few convos, but once you start to develop some dialogue, maybe some inside jokes, it'll all some together. It's worked for me believe it or not a few times in the past. Also, have confidence in yourself. I know, easier said than done, but it's the small things that matter. If you talk to her, take your hands out of your pockets. If you do develop even the slightest friendship with her then just give her a simple "Hey" in the halls. It's as simple as that and it will make you fill great and fill you with confidence.
And dude, don't give up. If she says no then that doesn't mean you're SOL. There will always be more people, and (I'm assuming your around my age (15)) you WILL find the right one. It might take some time, but everyone does.
Godspeed, brother. Godspeed.

16. : P

I'm the most awkward person when it comes to texting and I do not know you that well. I literally would send you a paragraph, get a 5 word response, and reply with another..

Now that sounds exactly like me. My friends tend to comment that whenever I comment on something, its like I am writing a book. ( In the length of my answers ) I normally don't like to answer short, as a short answer is often filled with mistakes. So I write a long answer to cover as many "faults" as I possibly can. Thus my responses tend to be rather long, at least compared to other people.

I am a bit shy with girls too. But I am in the process of losing that fear and shy. I talk to girls much more and I dont get so nervous as I did back in the days. You should talk to her before the Valentines day.

Anyways, there's a girl I like. Everyone has a crush, right? Well, I never usually talk to my crushes due to low self-esteem as well as the two things I stated above. So, considering I've never talked to this girl, I really want to get her something for Valentine's day. Candy, flowers, anything to be honest. I don't really plan on talking to her even on Valentine's day. Possibly have someone else do it for me.. Is this weird at all?

Also, there's no way I can get over the fear of talking to girls. I simply just can't. I haven't really had interest in a girl since around 7th grade, which was when I asked out a girl for my first time. 'Course I got denied, and I'm always scared of rejection even if it's a simple conversation.

Wow we have the same problem, but I think mines worse cause I'm fat. :3 And the girl I like is a year older than me. Her cousin is my best friend though.

Hidden Lesson: Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

Considering I've gotten so used to having excellent grammar, I simply do not like texting like this, "Hey wuz up how r u?" Only thing I will abbreviate is lol or brb.

Look put it this way, not every girl is going to find you attractive or to their taste, you shouldn't let it get to you, I've never been told no purely for the fact I am a really confident guy, but at the same time I don't try too hard, just do your best mate, but you do have to talk to her.
