I am not skilled in anyways when it comes to smudge signatures, but I would say that the smudge shouldn't be this transparent. The idea of smudge signatures is to make the render blend in with a smudge background that may look a bit like a painting.

Is there any way you could give me any tips/tutorials for these kinds of things?

I am afraid I couldn't I've never watched tutorials myself and I have never really tired to make smudge based signatures before.. Stressed

Seems a bit too blurry. It makes her makeup look smeared or something. I prefer your current one, even though I'm not a fan of avatar.
