One more thing, you might want to use a framework like Bootstrap, HTML5 boilerplate or Foundation. Not to be a dick or anything, but the current layout looks a bit... unprofessional. I personally don't think that rounded buttons is the way to go, and the internet neither. If you look around, sharp edges and squared boxes are the future. Windows 8 uses it, iOS and OS X will in the next update and Android too. Follow the stream to make your things popular.

I'd say you're definately getting there. It looks a little imblanced now, though. Try to change the buttons a bit, maybe a border around them and some subtle inset box shadow or something, if you don't want them boxy. A border is great in any case, though. If you want your design flatter, use less color variation (see anonimg.com for an example, I stick to a pallete of about three colors, with grays that are similar). Instead of black, you can try #080808, it's more natural IMO.
