For Desktop:

Go to the Instagram profile desired then view the picture you want.

Right-click on the picture and click on 'View Page Source'.

Press Ctrl + F and paste this:

There will be a link right next to it after 'content='

Highlight the link, right-click, open link.

Right-click and save the picture.

For Mobile:

Go to the Instagram profile desired and view the picture you want.

Once you are viewing the picture, enter this at the beginning of the link:

For example:

view-source:https://www.Instagram.com

Open 'Find in page'  and enter the same from above.

The next steps are pretty much the same from above.

I believe this should work for all browsers. I have done this on Firefox and Google Chrome. There are some websites that prevent people from saving images other than Instagram so this should work. I remember coming across a web site that prevents people from right clicking and do 'Save Page As.

Some developers purely use JavaScript, so simply disabling It (JavaScript) In your browser will do the job.
