Yes.
In any Debian based Distribution such as Ubuntu or LinuxMint you merely need to install Aircrack-ng & Macchanger (Macchanger-gtk, for graphical front end since Macchanger is CLI) packages for what is described by Author's initial thread.
I assume the Author recommending Backtrack would be directed at those using Windows.

Hacking wireless keys with Backtrack is good but takes to much hours, nerves and head banging to the wall if the key doesn't match the dictionary attack coz the bruteforce could be paint in the ass.
My success stories and the easiest way to hack my neighbors wireless was very simple. All you need to do is copy one of the following programs on your USB:

- SterJo Wireless Passwords
- WirelessKeyView

Plug the USB on the victims computer when the user is away or went to toilet and run one of these freewares. Save the keys and voila

Backtrack 5.x is the superior product for exploiting wireless routers and any other number of tools/techniques that have been created for that very purpose by Developers who have specialized in the Security Field for many years, including the development of said product spanning the same number of years.
Your two links of "your software" requires that an individual must be present at the computer of the victim versus Backtrack 5.x requiring no immediate presence with-in the immediate vicinity of the victim's computer.
If Backtrack 5.x is too slow for you, then A) you're not using it correctly, B) your hardware is not as up to date as it should be, C) you're merely seeking to advertise "your software", or D) a combination of A, B, and C.

I was not referring to braking into someones house. Usually the wireless key is hacked from your neighbor because of the signal straight. So as a normal visit like a good neighbor you could do this is 5 seconds if you cann't do it with Backtrack.
