I have invested in penny stocks before. You need a couple hundred dollars ideally to start penny stocks. It's just watching the trends, low risk if you know how to do it. I made about $250 profit in a month, but it was hard work and watching and researching everything was tiresome.

Yeah, I was thinking of signing up to NASDAQ next year at some point and experimenting. Does it allow you to put on only a few dollars on the lowest stock to try it out?

Not sure with NASDAQ. I used a private stock investment site. The minimum for stock purchases was $20 a time there. And that was considered low, I believe.
